Paniolo Hoof Support Pads are convenient hoof support pads that provide quick relief from laminitis and other hoof conditions.

The Support Pads are made of many small polyester foam beads and are stored in an active resin solution. Upon opening the package and contact with the air, the resin begins to cure. After application, the weight of the horse moulds the pad to the needed hoof shape.

The cotton covered pads provide speedy relief from laminitis, are breathable and distribute weight evenly. Application with a bandage is simple and straightforward. In addition to laminitis, hoof pads also protect bruised soles and minor puncture wounds. Paniolos can also provide quick relief for a lost shoe. After fitting, ointments or similar can also be used before placing under the support pad. Once the pad is fitted and cured, the pad can be worked/rasped. Hoof Support Pads will last up to two weeks. Especially in cases of laminitis, the pads should be replaced when they are completely compressed.

Application: Keep bandage handy. Open bag and remove one pad. Knead carefully. Fit to hoof and bandage. Set hoof down and let horse stand for five minutes to allow cushion to harden and the horse's weight to give final shape. Can be used with or without horseshoes.
